A DeluxeCardTM Visa® prepaid gift card is a convenient way to say “I care” to just about anyone on your gift list! It’s welcomed worldwide at more than 19 million merchants that accept Visa debit cards, and it can be used to make purchases online, by phone or in person.
How does it work?
A DeluxeCard prepaid card looks like a credit card. The front of the card displays the Visa Brand logo, an individual account number and an expiration date; personalized versions of the card also carry the name of the purchaser or gift recipient. The back includes a magnetic strip. Unlike a credit card, however, the DeluxeCard prepaid card may only be used for the amount of money loaded onto the card.
Purchasers or gift recipients can use the card as many times as they like for a full year, up to the amount stored on the card. As the card is used, the amount of each purchase is automatically deducted from the card’s available balance. If the card is lost or stolen with a balance remaining, the user can cancel the card and order a replacement for a nominal fee.

Each is personalized with the recipient’s name and mailed directly to their address in a week to ten days. Online purchases can be made in whole dollar amounts from $25 to $500. The processing fee is only $5.95 for cards issued for $25 to $250 and just $7.95 for cards ranging from $251 to $500.
In a rush? Non-personalized cards can be purchased on the spot at any Central State Bank location. We usually keep one or more seasonal designs on hand and you can purchase face amounts from $20 to $500. A modest issuance fee of $3.95 per card applies.
